We provide custom prosthetic eyes and shells for:
people who have had one or both eyes surgically removed
people with a totally blind eye
people with a small, blind, underdeveloped eye (microphthalmia)
people without an eye from birth (anophthalmia)

Medicare, Louisiana Medicaid, and most commercial health insurance carriers pay benefits for our services. We accept Medicare, Louisiana Medicaid, Veterans Administration benefits, TriCare, Workers Compensation, and Humana Insurance. If your health insurance coverage is with a company not listed above, we will be happy to verify your benefits, pre-authorize services with your carrier if needed, and file electronic claims for you.

David R Wyatt, owner and ocularist, has been making prosthetic eyes for over 40 years. Jennifer M Premus, also an ocularist, has been working for L&B Laboratories for over 20 years. Both David and Jennifer are certified by the National Examining Board of Ocularists, and are members of The American Society of Ocularists.
