General Membership Meeting

Our priority is to keep all attendees as safe as possible. All current city/state Covid regulations will be in place for this event. Currently these regulations include proof of a negative PCR test within 72 hours of the event or a record of vaccination.

King Arthur Float Inspection

This is an invite only opportunity for Lieutenants, Assistant Lieutenants and Sergeants to come inspect your floats and mark members’ spots prior to the parade.

An email will go out to Lieutenants and Assistant Lieutenants with more details and the location(s) of this inspection.

King Arthur Bal Masque XLV

The Krewe of King Arthur will celebrate 45 years on January 22, 2022 at the Hyatt Regency. The event will include presentation of the Royal Court and King and Queen XLV as well as King and Queen XLIV.

Doors open at 6:45PM, Tableau begins promptly at 7:45PM

Bars open at 7:00PM – As in years past, the bars located inside the ballroom will close during the Tableau. Seated dinner will be served.

DRESS CODE:
Black Tie attire is required for this event. Tuxedos or floor length gowns must be worn for entry.  Dress code must be adhered to by all ages.
COVID SAFETY:

Currently these regulations include proof of a negative PCR test within 72 hours of the event or a record of vaccination. All ticket holders will receive an email notification the week of the ball with any updates or changes to this policy
TICKETS:
Ticket sales are through Eventbrite. All attendees must have their Eventbrite ticket, with barcode, for entry. Tickets can be purchased HERE

Attendees will be required to select their choice of Table Captain as well as name each person that tickets are for. The Krewe will make all reasonable efforts to place attendees with, or near, the table captain they select.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
A final schedule of events has not been finalized. We are still working to see if/when Table Captains will be allowed into the ballroom to decorate tables. Please understand that if it is possible to get in and decorate tables, it will be a very specific timeframe that will be enforced due to the short turnaround to the get ballroom ready for our event.  Max height for centerpieces is 18″.

Final Rider Position Forms due. Ball tickets will be distributed to Table Captains.

King Arthur Parade Logistics will be gone over in depth at this meeting.

Lieutenants should send one representative to each Lieutenant meeting. If the actual Lieutenant of the float cannot attend, please see to it that an Assistant Lieutenant or another representative attends these meetings.

January Merchandise Distribution

This will be our January throw distribution day. Items will need to be preordered by January 7th at noon to be eligible to be picked up the next day. Also on January 7th, the website will be closed to preordering any additional merchandise.

We anticipate all preordered merchandise to be available during this time. Cash and credit card will be accepted for day of purchases.

We plan to distribute some costumes to Lieutenants as well during this distribution.

December Throw Distribution Day

We will be distributing all preordered merchandise except for any packages not named “Captain’s”, Sacks of Beads,  Karmel Korn and Safety Harness’ during this time.
