Why “Thanks-A-Lot”?

In honor of our Captain, Phil Fricano, and his incredible 50-year journey with Mardi Gras krewes, “Thanks-A-Lot” celebrates those who’ve had a lasting impact—whether on his life, on Mardi Gras, or on the spirit of Carnival itself. This tribute perfectly complements our 2024 parade theme, “CARNIVAL GODS OF THE PAST 50 YEARS,” and invites everyone to join in the gratitude and celebration.
How it works

Donate a dedicated “Thanks-A-Lot” Mardi Gras flower tribute, personalized with a handwritten name of your choice. These meaningful flowers will be proudly displayed on Float 17 A and B during the parade, making it a memorable gesture of appreciation. Donations benefit the Camelot Nation Arts Scholarship.
